Pike Push-ups in the Closet......shhh, just a beginner

I have viewed several workout videos regarding an exercise called the pike-pushup. This is an interesting yet challenging pushup that requires placing most of the body weight on the shoulders keeping the body arched in a V-shaped posture. The body is in an upward-bend with the legs extended standing on the toes. The head is between the shoulders and the hands are as close to the feet as one can get them. Then you bend your elbows so they are pointing out from your chest and then push up. This is a VERY challenging exercise because it requires proper form. The best way to practice this exercise is to either have a professional trainer present to correct form mistakes or be in front of a mirror and examine your posture. For the time I've been using this exercise, my shoulders have gotten bigger, stronger and my appearance more attractive. Getting close to that beach body. Love picking up new forms of functional exercises that helps me perform beyond my perceived capacity. H
